In Wrath of the Lich King, Northrend has always been known as a continent that provided its inhabitant a harsh, cruel, and unfavorable to all living races because of its icy and frozen atmosphere that only few creatures could withstand such given climate. One of the races in the Northrend continent is the Wendigo. Many haves said that the existence of this race, are seen once in a blue moon in the game. Although they appear on a seldom basis, creatures must be threaten since this race usually appears after the ancient and brutal call that they heard on the dark peaks of the Northrend continent.
These creatures in WOTLK take a furry humanoids appearance that is huge in built. They mainly reside at the areas where cold climates are usually experienced. Many also believed that these creatures wanted to live an isolated life along the Northrend caves that are littered with bones. They make their journey all the way with the use of their hunting skills. The art that they have hunting are use up to defend their territory, have ample supply of foods, and be free from any threat that pose their lives. It is advised that characters should listen to the howl of the Wendigo. This howl will serve as a warning for those creatures that wanted to try their fate in defeating the race or be added to the bone collection that ornaments their caves. Dun Morogh is believed to be the home base of these creatures, especially on the central part of the location. It is also the location where these creatures conduct their hunting trips.
The race also undergoes a certain level called the apprenticeship which is said to be painful to them. These creatures have levels that usually vary from 5 to 7. They also respect territory and they won't allow any stranger to set off their territory. They are accounted to be predators that are very horrifying that really craves over the flesh of orcs as well as human flesh. These creatures reach their maturity once they are known to get to be nine years old. Once they are mature, the parents will provide independence for their offspring to let them stand on their own.
In some instances, one Wendigo may have conflict with his fellow. On this accord, one usually experience death over the victory of the other. One member of the race is believed to have the capacity to control a certain territory.
