Spanish brunch at Poco Loco, Bandra

Visitors: 213

Believe it or not brunch is the most convenient meal. And best so when it is served with wine! This weekend we indulged in the Sunday brunch at Poco Loco in Bandra. And only when we stepped out, we realized that we have spent 4 hours only eating! Let me start my review by mentioning the basics. The Brunch will cost you Rs. 999 (Alcoholic) and Rs.899 (Non Alcoholic). With unlimited Sangria with the Non Alcoholic brunch. Now lets further see if it is worth the cost!

What is on the menu The brunch menu changes every week. And for that matter Poco Loco keeps revamping their menu every two months. So that they don't stress the patrons with too much to pick from! They offer every regional food from Indian to Spanish, American, Italian, Mexican, African, Thai and Chinese food.

The brunch we attended had Salad, soup, entree and Dessert like a regular buffet would have. What makes the spread different is that cuisine is strictly Spanish. The salads were very refreshing and the veggies were nice and crunchy.

The show stopper were the Asparagus wrap de salmon, Three sprouts salad , champiñones rellenos (Stuffed Mushrooms), Cold cuts and cheese pairings and paella marinera. The Star on the menu was the Sangria. Perfect temperature. Perfect nose and perfect flavor. The service is pretty prompt and there are chances that you will hardly find your glass empty.

To talk about economy the Brunch is an outright winner. Considering you go out for a brunch some place else and order for Sangria pitcher, that alone will cost you somewhere between Rs. 1,500 to Rs.1, 900. So definitely value for money. The decor is subtle and not at all noisy, something that you would want on a Sunday morning. So drop by and savor the Spanish flavor.
