Seafood, Steak and Eggs for Brunch?

Brunch is a late morning meal between breakfast and lunch and serves as a replacement for both meals. This is usually eaten by those people who rise up too late for breakfast. This can also serve as a specially-planned meal like a wedding shower or a New Years Day gathering. Brunches are usually more relaxed meals dinner, making it appropriate for informal occasions.

The best thing about brunches is that it offers a wider array of food choices to choose from. Hotel restaurants and fine dining establishments often hold their weekly brunches on Sundays allowing families to attend religious services in the morning and gathering for a meal afterwards. Satisfying the taste buds for breakfast and lunch enthusiasts alike, brunches blend traditional bacon and eggs with fresh salads, fruits and lighter lunch items all into one meal.

Brunch in Restaurants

The price of the brunch in restaurants often includes a glass of champagne and fruit juices. Typical brunch costs range from $15 to $30 person depending upon how elaborate the production and the expense of the menu items. Many times you will find a carved roast ham, standing rib roast or whole turkey as a feature combined with egg recipes like Eggs Benedict, cheese grits, crepes and French toast. Pastries may also be served like biscuits, donuts, and classical French dessert items like the Napoleon. You can expect a less fancy meal if their per person dining costs below $15.
