Alternately, make a low-calorie fruit and yogurt smoothie by blending 1/2 cup of low-fat yogurt, 1/2 cup of crushed ice, 1/2 cup of low-calorie juice, and 1/2 cup of fresh fruit of your choice. Smoothies are incredibly filling, and this combination will help you make it to lunchtime. They are ideal when embarking on almost any weight-loss diet.

For lunch eat an average-size slice of pizza topped with a blend of gorgonzola, parmesan, mozzarella, and goat cheese, and choose any number of vegetables as toppings. In addition, enjoy a freshly tossed salad containing lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers, and opt for a low-fat low-calorie salad dressing instead of high-fat high-calorie varieties.

If salad is not your side dish of choice, choose a bowl of low-calorie high-vitamin vegetable soup, or enjoy grilled vegetables with the pizza. For best results, alternate pizza toppings and side dishes to keep the diet interesting and satisfying. Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be hungry to lose weight.

Healthy Pizza Diet Dinner Ideas

When dinner time rolls around, choose pizza that is not only topped with vegetables, but choose pizza also topped with lean chicken breast. Protein is essential to a healthy diet, and no diet should be without a significant source of protein that includes lean meat, beans, or tofu.

Enjoy another salad that includes fresh sliced mushrooms, green peppers, kalamata olives, and onions. Top it with your favorite low-fat low-calorie dressing, and toss on a few low-fat croutons for added texture and appeal. You do not have to cut out every food you enjoy on the pizza diet. Moderation will help you achieve your weight goal while you enjoy the foods you love, and best of all you will not go hungry while on this diet.

Beverage Ideas While on the Pizza Diet

Cutout the high-calorie beverages, and instead of drinking empty calories, opt for water with a hint of lemon or lime. Unsweetened green tea is also an excellent choice, and it can be sweetened with a small amount of natural fruit juice. Whenever possible, fill up on water in between healthy snacks and meals, and the pizza diet will work for you!
