What To Look For When Buying a Juice Extractor

Visitors: 220

Ever since the whole trend of living healthy began, countless diets have become popular. Everything from eating small parts to eating raw - and a combination of two or more of these diets - they have all come full drive to kill the unhealthy eating culture predominant today. One popular diet is juicing. To the uninitiated, juicing is nothing more than the regular summer whip ups of poolside cocktails and smoothies.

But juicing, as a diet, is seriously incorporating juiced fresh vegetables and many fruits in every day meals. The better and “more squeezed" these fruits and veggies are, the better the body absorbs their vital and good stuff. The benefits of juicing range from better mineral absorption to better digestion (it relaxes and eases overuse of digestive internal organs) to boosted immune method right down to the ultimate purpose of many: weight loss.

To achieve the good and wellnessy kind of fresh juice, it takes more than just recognizing the freshest of produce. It also takes a good juice extractor. See, getting the right kind of juice extractor is ensuring that you are getting as much of your fresh fruit or vegetable. Other juice extractor brands and models do not “juice up" enough and so a lot of the juice is still on the pulp, and will either be thrown away or would require another round of juicing to max out its contents. authorities agree that one of the main things that a client should look meticulously at when purchasing a juice extractor is the type of ‘juicing mechanism’ that it does. There are generally four juice extractor types.

(1) The reamer is the most frequent and least expensive on this list. It is a manual type of juicer used ordinarily used only for citruses like lemons, oranges, pomegranates and grapefruits, and requires a lot of arm and hand power as it entails hard squeezing, and perhaps the least amount of juice. (2) The Centrifugal juice extractor uses a flat cutting blade that spins the fruit or vegetable at high speed.

This separates the juice from the pulp. (3)The masticating juicer on the other hand uses a drill or auger to crush the fruit or veggie pieces to take out the juice. It can juice more leafy vegetables more efficiently than the centrifugal juicer, and gets more juice out of the produce.

It is also relatively pricier. (4) And lastly, there is the genuinely expensive (most expensive on this list) triturating juicer. This type of juicer uses the same drill mechanism as the masticating juice extractor but twice the power as it uses two augers instead of one.

This is also the most recommended type by most nutritionists as it has the most crushing power - meaning, it can take out the most juice out of your fruit and vegetables - plus it does not expose the juice as much as the other individuals to air which will cause it to lose its freshness and essential nutrients to oxygen. For most individuals, carrying out the “juice diet" is a way to achieve all round health improvement. But like any other diet out there, for the diet to work, it takes a lot of discipline and not just the most expensive juice extractor or the freshest of many fruits.
