Choosing A Weber Charbroil Grill Cover

Visitors: 263

One of the most expensive investments into your backyard is your grill. These can range from a smaller cheaper charcoal grill to the more fancy expensive gas grills. Infrared grills are also out there now. The cost of a grill can range from twenty dollars to over four hundred. One way to insure the life of that investment is by using a Weber charbroil grill cover. This will help to prevent the costly damage that can be cause by the elements.

Knowing what type of grill you have is the first place to start in your search for a cover. The sizes and styles are very different. Purchasing a cover is a great way to protect your investment.

Start by taking a look at the gas grill. These can be one of the most expensive grills you can buy. Weber offers several different covers depending on the model of grill you own. One of the options is the premium cover for a Genesis E and S series grills. These covers have fitted centers and long sides to make sure the whole grill is covered. The cost for these can range anywhere from forty five to fifty five dollars. They have yet another series of covers for a Spirit two or three hundred grill.

The charcoal grills, as well as their covers, are cheaper than the gas options. They range in the twenty to forty dollar range for a cover. One type cover is the premium cover for the twenty two and a half inch grill. The black cover will help to mesh with any backyard decor. Yet another cover option is the performer cover. It is a full length cover with heavy duty fabric.

One may not realize the damage that not covering your grill can do. Water from rain or dew can cause problems if left in and around the grill. Making sure to block the moisture from getting in is one way to help prolong your grill life. Another problem you may face is outside critters getting into your grill. A grill also helps to cover your utensils and keep everything clean.

Some grill covers are made with vents in them. This helps on keeping the moisture down. You need to make sure you have a nice, heavy weighted cover to keep these problems at bay. You need to consider the environment that you live in as well. If you live in a mild area where weather changes are slight, all you will need is a light cover. If you can have extreme shifts in temperature then you will need a heavier cloth cover.

Black is the most popular color option for the cover. Sometimes you may be able to find other colors such as tan. Be aware the black will show the pollen and dust or dirt. This is easily washed off of the vinyl covers.

Prolonging the life of your grill is easier to do when using a grill cover. This can help to save you money and time when your grill is working in proper order. The elements can wreak havoc on your grill causing parts and even the grill to need replacing. Measure your grill before looking for a cover to insure the proper fit.
