Experimenting With Light Through Lighting Control

Visitors: 215

Dram in real life, on stage, can only make an impact using appropriate lighting. Although people have been using lighting effects and sound effects to describe scenes in theaters and operas, lighting control is constantly evolving. The visual effect of a properly programmed lighting control is completely terrific. The light should add substantial effect to the performance and additionally to the mood of the visitors. Low lit programs do not make an impact. People have always attempted to use the effect of lights to illustrate a particular scene, phenomenon or an event. But, the way they modified the stage lights in theaters and in public podiums underwent drastic transforms over the last decade.

Let us take a look at how the lighting control has evolved over the years. Originally lights were dimmed and brightened manually after a particular time period. Afterwards the lighting control has moved on to a single framed, control panel based lighting control. This is a big-step-foreword in the technology of lighting control. Now! People were not satisfied with just this. The lights that lightened the scenes were quite huge and gawky. The lightning control console could only be programmed to dim for a particular time and a particular number of bulbs. Afterwards another frame had to be manually uploaded into the lightning control console. This doesn't seem difficult isn't it? Therefore, people have started to improve their lighting control.

Afterwards they came up with lighting controls that could possibly be controlled by programmed software through a console. But, this could only be done using a certain set of lighting gadgets built by a particular builder and for a particular pattern of lighting. But, this model of lighting did not accommodate any additional lighting gadgets or portable lighting arrangements. After this came the wonderful DMX512 lighting control. This is what is known as the powerful lighting control software.

Through this software lighting control has been introduced to a new dimension. In this installation, lights in lighting fixtures are little LED lights and various lights that took digital signals to run on different voltages. They could possibly be programmed and made to fade-in and fade-out in accordance to a pre-set timer. The lighting control was then completed through the DMX protocols that the fixture supported. This made lighting more beautiful and radiant. Discos, clubs and various partying locations today are reaping the advantages of this wonderful lighting control software. If you are looking for a spectacularly illuminated club or a disco, then have lighting control using DMX software .
