Selling Wii Games Online

Visitors: 270

If you have old Nintendo Wii games or Wii Consoles that you want to trade in for cash or credit, you can get an instant online quote from Chillout Games in the UK. We offer a price for all European (English language) Wii games – 919 of them as of Jan 2011.

The quote basket has been custom made specifically for video games and features dropdowns for condition of case, instructions and disc. This is because, unlike other online Wii games buyers, Chillout Games believes that you should be paid more for games in good condition. Having said that, you can price your unboxed Wii games (or games that have scruffy discs or manuals) so that you know precisely how much you will be getting when selling your Wii games collection.

How do I sell my Wii games?

Here is a short walkthrough of the steps involved. Please note that we are currently only accepting Wii games from sellers in the UK (as of Jan 2011).

You can choose to find the Wii game by barcode. Type or scan in a barcode in the box in the middle of the sell Wii Games page on the Chillout Games website. The 13 digit barcode is usually found of the back of the game case and Wii games all have a barcode unless they were originally bundled with an accessory e. g. Wii Sports with Balance Board. We need the original barcode, which could be hidden under a shop sticker. Enter the barcode and click ‘search', it will be added to your selling basket. If we are not buying it, a message will appear. If it’s a duplicate, it will not go in the basket. Check the basket picture to make sure that it is the same Wii game that you are selling. If you have a large list to sell, you can select ‘bulk’ mode and paste in a list of ten Wii games at a time.

Alternatively, you can search for a Wii game to sell by the game name. Type a keyword in the search box in the middle of the sell Wii Games page on the Chillout Games website. The search results can be sorted alphabetically or by platform (we buy most console games platforms). Click the “Get price" button to store it. If we are not buying a particular Wii game, a message will appear. If it is a duplicate, it will not go in the basket. Check the basket picture to make sure that it is the same Wii game that you have to sell.

Add more Wii games until you have at least 15 games totalling at least £30. You can click ‘save for later’ to keep the quote for 4 weeks (you'll need to open a basic account). Games in the saved basket will change in price daily until you commit to a formal quote. The ‘Continue’ button lights up when you have enough.

Tell us about problems with the Wii games that you are selling. Each item in the basket can be edited. Update scruffy or missing cases, manuals etc. Wii games cases are robust DVD sized cases and the manuals are usually in good condition as they don’t normally see much handling. Check our rules for scruffy items in the Sell My Games help section of the website.

Certain Wii games (and all Consoles) will show ‘edit for price’ in the basket. This means that you need to click the edit button and decide whether to tick the additional requirements e. g.includes map or includes mini comic etc. The price will only be displayed when you have edited the Wii item in the basket

Choose how you want to be paid. Choose ‘Shop Credit’ for the best price. Choose ‘PayPal’ if you have a PayPal account. Then review your prices for each option.

Choose how you want to send your parcel. If you're sending it yourself, we will give you a postage credit. The postage credit is then shown at the bottom of the basket. Choose the ‘Courier’ option for us to collect. Read our packing guidelines in the sell games help section.

Add Quote Details – At this point, you will be asked to login or create an account. Enter a payment address (even if you are sending the parcel yourselves). Type in a valid PayPal email (if you are being paid by PayPal). Choose a collection date for courier if we collect. If you can print the courier label, you will get an earlier date in the calendar.

To get a formal quote to sell your Nintendo Wii games, tick to accept our packing and selling Terms. Then click the ‘get quote’ button to complete the Quote. We will email you a copy of your Quote and you will receive a quote number valid for 14 days. You will then be forwarded to a Quote Status page

To check the status of your Sell Wii games quote, log in to the Quote Status page. You can add courier instructions, print off the courier label and track the progress of a collected parcel. You can also view queried items and reprint your Quote document.

You can also sell your Wii Console or Official Nintendo Wii accessories to us.
