If you're searching for the 4G-capable version of HTC One X, then the HTC One XL will meet your requirement. Also, this can be the second 4G-capable smartphone after the Velocity 4G and it’s the worldwide GSM smartphone. Therefore, let’s have a closer look at the below specs overview of HTC One XL for your own consideration.

The general design of HTC One XL is apparently really similar with HTC One X. The device measures 134.8 x 69.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 129 grams (with battery). With this measurement, the phone is undoubtedly a bit smaller and slimmer than its close brother. The display sizing is 4.7 inches Super IPS LCD2 HD capacitive touch-screen with 16 million colors, 720 x 1280 pixels of screen quality and 312 ppi of pixel density. In fact, this display spec is very comparable with the Samsung Galaxy S3. Moreover, the screen also supports for multi-touch feature and it has been built in with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Relating to the hardware specs, you will find out that HTC One XL has downgraded the processor to dual-core 1.5 Ghz (Krait) processor instead of using the quad-core processor. But the good thing about this dual-core processor will be the lesser consumption of battery power. Towards the operating system and interface, the phone has been loaded with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with the most current version of HTC Sense UI 4.0. To backup the efficiency of main processor, there is 1 GB of RAM with the 16 GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot. This can be one of the disadvantages of this device because the built-in storage is really insufficient and moreover it doesn’t support for memory expansion.

This phone boasts the 8 megapixels camera with auto-focus, smart LED flash, and BSI (backside-illuminated) sensor which can be great for the low-light photo taking activity. The front camera of 1.3 megapixels may be used for the video chatting with the quality of 720p. For the digital music needs, the phone has been loaded with the Beats audio feature which will also work in all applications and not just the music player. To power up the multimedia player and the overall operation, the phone has been bundled with the standard battery of Li-Po 1800 mAh but it’s non-removable.

To access the internet, the phone runs on GPRS, EDGE, 3G via HSDPA (21 Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76 Mbps), and the 4G network through LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, and 100 Mbps DL. The default browser supports for Adobe Flash and HTML for full browsing experience. For the wireless connections, you will find the Wi-Fi (direct and hotspot support), DLNA, NFC and also the latest Bluetooth 4.0 version with A2DP feature. For the PC sync or data transfer, there's also the high-speed microUSB (MHL) 2.0 version.

The price of HTC One XL is $799.99 (unlocked). The benefits of this device will be the good construction, good camera specs, 4G capability and awesome HD display. The disadvantages will be the small amount of built in storage and also the lack of microSD card slot and also the non-removable battery.
