The Kyocera K126c is a newly released cell phone from Tracfone and NET10. It is a CDMA model. This phone will work and roam on the Verizon, Alltel, and Us Cellular networks. This phone has very good coverage nationwide. Tracfone and Net10 are the only prepaid phones that roam for normal rates. This phone is a single rate phone meaning that you will not be charged extra for long distance or roaming. Most Prepaid phones will not work while you are roaming or you pay over 50 cents per minute if they allow roaming.

How do Tracfone and Net10 prepaid Cell phone plans work?

It is really simple, you purchase your phone and a minute card. The Net10 plan charges you 10 cents a minute all the time. The Tracfone plan you can use for less than $10 a month but the minutes usually cost more. You activate your phone and add the minute card to your phone. No credit check, no contracts, no age limit, no penalty for letting your service lapse. It is really simple. I have used a Tracfone for a couple of years and now I am using a Net10 phone. My average cell phone expense over the last several years is less than $20 a month.
