Low Cost, Creative Ways to Advertise You Cleaning Business and Get More Customers

There are many ways to get your name and business out in front of your potential customers. Joining various organizations that your potential customers are also members, print ads and radio ads all cost money and take away your valuable time. Here are some alternative ideas and ways to use them to increase your visibility and credibility.

Flyers are great, be sure to list your services, anything that sets you apart from your competition, free estimates, and if you're bonded and licensed. Try not to make the flyer too busy with too much script, too many different font types or too many graphics. Clean, neat and a fast read are best. And, if you use colored paper, please pick a tasteful color, not anything ‘electric’ or too bold. Distribute these where you wish to acquire your clients. If it's acceptable in your area, flyers at someone's door, under their windshield wiper at a parking lot, posted on community bulletin boards or in shops. . . get permission, first.

Business cards are a must, too.

Here's another terrific idea that works-

Magnetic signs and, better, a vinyl wrap for your vehicle. They aren't very expensive, in the long run, and it turns your vehicle into a mobile billboard. Every time you're in traffic, someone will read it (best if you have something on the back of your vehicle-short & sweet), whenever you park your vehicle, people see it.

Now here's the trick, park your vehicle where you want to get business! In busy parking lots, by the entrance/exit or intersection. In or around the neighborhood you want to work in or the office/commercial area, so it appears you already have business there!
