Scenario: A Business Broker contacts a business owner.

(First name of prospect), just wondering, when the day comes when you retire, are you going to take a cruise to the Southern Caribbean, visit Greece or where do you think you might go?

(Pause to hear how your prospect responds-they will probably laugh and find this funny)

My name is (Insert name) and I'm a business broker with (Insert your company). We have a strong network of potential buyers who are looking to buy companies in your industry with strong balance sheets. The day will come when you might be looking to sell your business, retire, travel and enjoy the finer things in life; may I drop off some information to your office this (Insert a specific day and time) or does next (Insert a specific day and time) work better for you?

Sales Opener 2:

Scenario: A Financial Advisor contacts a C-Level Executive who was featured in the local newspaper.

Is this (Full name of prospect) the MOVIE STAR?

(Pause to hear how your prospect responds)

Scenario: A Promotional Product Sales Rep sees an advertisement on a park bench and contacts the business owner.

Scenario: A Sales Rep from a Web Design Firm happens to see a business card hanging on the bulletin board in a local restaurant.

Scenario: A Restaurant Food Supplier Rep contacts a restaurant owner.
