Visitors: 213

Do you want more comments on you blog? Sometimes you may find it is very difficult to get people to comment on your post or your blog post seems not to bring more result. As a matter of fact, this is a problem that every blogger may suffer from. Here are some tips for you reference.

If you want comments, take a stand. Don’t be afraid of expressing opinions some people won’t agree with. They can tell you that in a comment and you can respond in kind – that’s the start of a conversation, and that’s what readers like. Besides, there is nothing in the blogosphere than a well written blog post. A post that is well written will go a long way in getting more reader’s praises than the one that you just wrote on the blog without thinking twice.

After you have submitted your posts with high quality contents, you may need to leave some comments at first. Don’t be afraid to leave your own comments on your own posts – while some purists might disagree with this tactic it’s all about whoring it up. If you’re not willing to use your own comments section why would your readers? It’s particularly important in the early days of your blog as it shows your readers that their comments are valued. Use your comments as a way to make updates to posts or to expand on a specific idea. It thus creates a culture of interactivity and gives the impressions to other readers that your comments section is an active place that you as the blogger value.

Including specific questions in posts definitely helps get higher numbers of comments. Users read blogs for many different reasons, and they often don’t feel compelled to comment on the information they have received. Asking questions is a great way to get readers involved in a blog and invite them to share their opinions about a particular topic. There is usually a place in most of your posts where you can ask your readers a specific question, such as how they would handle a certain situation or what they think about your viewpoint. You will find that when you include questions in your headings that it is a particularly effective way of getting a response from readers as you set a question in their mind from the first moments of your post. Questions should be easy to answer, but should not be “yes or no. ” Open-ended questions are the best for igniting discussion.

When you do get comments, taking time to respond to them will generate conversations, make commenter’s feel valued and help entice the lurkers to have their say. Responding to remarks on your own blog lets readers know that you are truly listening and care about what they have to say. Obviously, that will often lead to more comments and repeat visits. You can also ‘Reward’ Comments. Offering an incentive is a wonderful way to attract new readers to a blog as well as to encourage existing followers to participate in the conversation more.

Above all, you’d better express your own opinions and write high quality contents within your posts. Besides, leaving your own comments, asking questions and responding to readers’ comments may help you get more comments.
