Hiring Process - Why its becoming critical job for HR?

Hiring is the most important process of any of the employment cycle. It is very important for both the employer and employee. Hiring a right person at the right place is very essential for any of the organization to grow. After The selection process the hiring process comes in the frame. Means appointing the person who is refined in the processes like recruitment and selection. Whenever there will be any vacancy the first thing done by the HR department is to search internally in the company for the right candidate. If there search is not completed, then they go on external hunting. There are two factors which affect the hiring process.

The internal and external hiring

The internal hiring is the process in which the candidate is hired from the company itself. There are some advantages of hiring internally and some disadvantages as well. One of the advantage of internal recruitment is it will cut the advertisement costs, and offers the opportunity for the current staff to further their careers. And in the cost of training are at most best insignificant and to the worst much less than it would cost if the organization advertised outside. It is faster in comparison with the external hiring. This process has some of the disadvantages as well like the size of prospective applicants is considerably reduced. The outside recruitment provides the broader aspects of skills and experiences. It may be difficult to guess whether the person will suits to the new position or not as it would be very challenging for them.

The external hiring is a bit lengthy process then the internal recruitment in this the outside advertisement re required which cost some extra money. The process in both the ways are similar till the recruitment then the process of interview is bit different in both the types. Then there will be selection process comes where some of the factors affect the selection of the candidate. Those factors are Relocation, Salary Budget and Relevant Experience. The company always prefers to get the candidate from the nearby area the local market, even the candidate prefers too. There will be so many reasons behind this as the candidates have problems related to the family, safety etc. Another factor will be the salary factor it is not necessary that the candidate whom you desire you get at the salary you are offering.

These are the two factors which are basically can be good for best practices in human resources that affecting the hiring process.
