There are many different types of entrepreneurs-you see them every day. Even the kid selling lemonade at the corner stand is considered a business entrepreneur. These are people who are driven to success and people who spend their time thinking about how to be successful and finding ways to get it accomplished. You can probably name many men entrepreneurs, but what about women? Yes, there are famous women entrepreneurs, too. Here is a look at some that you may or may not have heard of.

Mary Kay Ash-if you are a woman and know anything about beauty products, then you have heard of this very famous business leader. Mary Kay Ash started her cosmetics company from very humble beginnings and it is now one of the most popular and most used company. She certainly succeeded in making her name and brand a household name. She used her entire life savings of $5000 on a dream and with the help of her son and a strong Christian principle of keeping God first in her life; she hired nine consultants and opened her first store in Dallas. Mary Kay has been recognized all over the globe and she prides herself in giving women opportunities to succeed in the business world. What woman would not want to earn that famous pink Cadillac as a business incentive? It took a lot of hard work, but Mary Kay Ash is certainly considered a famous woman entrepreneur.

Oprah Winfrey- Love her or hate her, she is a very famous entrepreneur who has watched her success and wealth grow over the years. She is now considered one of the most famous and one of the richest women of our times and she is equally as powerful in the entertainment industry. Winfrey first began her career in broadcasting at only 17 at a local radio station in her area. She was popular because she was young and she was black. She was in demand and soon found herself anchoring television news in Baltimore. It didn't take long for her to make the switch to other endeavors such as talk shows. She is a household name and many people set their Tivo or tune in to her increasingly popular show each and every day. Women and men alike admire her for her business savvy and her sheer talent and she is a wonderful mentor for young businesses people from all over the world.

Debbi Fields-Who doesn't love a fresh baked cookie from time to time? It was Debbi Fields that brought success in the cookie making industry. When she began her successful business, she was a housewife with no business experience at all. She did not let her inexperience deter her. Instead, she embarked on a business opportunity that had everyone singing the praises of her fresh baked goods. She convinced a bank to give her a loan and she opened her first store. She used her skills and intuition to build a business that is known around the world. She is still very active in the business community and is riding the waves of her success.

Now what do you think? It doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, if you have the desire and passion you can succeed!
