Professional and attractive - If you meet clients at your office, interview employees, or even if a customer just checks your address to see where you are located, your choice of office space can send a strong message about your business. A good rule of thumb is to always choose your office space with the assumption that someone is going to see it. Does it look tasteful and elegant while maintaining that professional sense of neutrality?

Fully equipped - If you are looking for short-term office space or meeting space, you will want to look for a place that is already furnished. If you aren't going to be there long, you may also want to make sure that services such as office cleaning are already in place as that will be one less thing for you to worry about. Other things you might want to look for include equipment such as copiers, projectors and fax machines.

Cost - Office space, New York City isn't cheap, but it is one of the busiest business hubs in the country. Of course, very rare is the company that can afford not to consider cost, but be sure to balance your concerns with the pros of a good location: shorter commutes, greater visibility and increased business.
