Visitors: 254

Are you looking for the highest paying mystery shop jobs? Before you aim to become a highly paid secret shopper, you should first learn about how to be better at it. Only then will businesses look to hire you regularly to complete their assignments.

1. What Do Mystery Shoppers Usually Do?

Most of the time, you will be asked to evaluate customer service without exposing yourself to the staff that you are a secret shopper. It feels like being a private detective at times, and you need to make sure that the staffs in the shops or restaurants do not suspect that you are not their regular customer.

2. What Are The Potential Problems You May Encounter?

Keeping yourself undercover can be difficult at times, because most of the time, you will need to take detailed notes of the products or the shop environment. Once I went to a shop selling shoes on my shopping assignment and was asked to take a detailed note of the display and prices of the shoes. I was the only patron in the supermarket at the time as well.

Because there was sales staff following me around trying to help me, I could not write down what I was seeing without exposing myself as a mystery shopper. I had to memorize all the details I was assigned to report in my mind, but luckily I was able to do it without arousing any suspicion!

3. Why Is It Necessary To Keep Your Identity A Secret?

If the sales staff in the shop were to find out that you are not a regular customer, they will definitely make an effort to serve you better, which may not be what they usually do to their regular customers. The reason why companies would send you to evaluate their businesses is to find out how regular customers will feel about their service.

By exposing your identity as a secret shopper, the entire purpose of your trip will be defeated because your evaluation would not be accurate. So always make an effort to keep your identity a secret!
