To become a virtual assistant a program must be completed, but in order to be able to take the program they ask that you have 5 years of administrative experience, some knowledge of MS Office Suite, and know how to basically navigate your way about the internet. Will in the training program you may learn such things as how to pay the company bills, how to build and run a website, and maybe even a bit of bookkeeping. Again this is not all, you will learn how to purchase products, how to plan an event, and various other things that any business could use.

Well you might be saying to yourself, well that’s a lotta time to put into a profession before I can even begin it. It may just be worth it in the long run. You can stay at home and work, never having to come face to face with your “boss”. You and your employer decide your wages, projects and hours. In 2 words it is job freedom, you can express your creative side and your professional side at the same time.
