Build a Hydrogen Generator Think Like MacGyver and Run Your Car on Water!

Did you know that simply by building a hydrogen generator from inexpensive, easy to find parts, you could improve your fuel economy by up to 40%? Thousands of people around the world are already building and installing their own hydrogen generators and nearly cutting their gas costs in half. If MacGyver needed to save money on gas and fight the “evil oil conglomerates", this is how he'd do it. Besides, it also causes cleaner emissions, and we all know that guy was all about saving the earth!

On a more serious note, when looking for a guide or plans to build a hydrogen generator, you should keep in mind that most guides use the same core system, although many guides offer some extras you might be able to make use of.

One of the more popular guides even shows you how to build a hydrogen generator that uses multiple cells to generate more hydrogen gas. But as I said, most call for the same main system, so if you don't need any of the extras, it's easy to find a guide that fits into your budget.

The core components generally consist of a small canister of water, some tubing, some wiring, and whatever is required to mount the whole setup in the engine bay. Zip ties are commonly used for this, but you can use a more permanent solution if you wish. They are very easy to build and can be done in less than an hour or so if you have all the parts ready.

The hydrogen generator actually works by running electricity through the water, which causes a hydrogen gas to be released. This type of hydrogen gas is commonly called HHO. The HHO gas bubbles to the top and the vacuum of the engine sucks the gas into the combustion chamber where it mixes with gasoline.

As a bonus, in most cases using a hydrogen generator results in cleaner emissions and sometimes even improved power. Now that you know the basics of how to build a hydrogen generator, you can easily see that the benefits are undoubtedly excellent in comparison to the relatively small investment when you build a hydrogen generator yourself.

Never Built Anything Like This Before?

Hey that's alright! Most people running these had never built one before either. If you're still a little fuzzy on how this works or how to build it, I highly suggest following one of the many guides that show you step-by-step, start-to-finish exactly how to build and install your own hydrogen gas saver. For your convenience, I've reviewed the Top 3 Guides available so you can decide which best fits your individual needs and budget.
