It's come all too common now. People are doing all they can to save money including putting time into researching where they can locally find the lowest gas prices. Even though once you've found a deal and you're paying up to 20c less a gallon, it can still leave a nasty burn on your wallet at the pump.
Now a days people are even driving farther out of their way to fill up once they find a deal where they're saving 5-10% on gas. Saving 10-20 bucks every time they fill up on gas can be a big deal for some people that are constantly on the run but it's still ridiculous how much gas still costs, even with the savings. A lot of people are familiar with the ever so popular GasBuddy website but to find the lowest gas prices in my local area I just watch the news, because most news stations will have something just for gas or oil prices.
The cost of oil goes up and up along with the cost of living and there is no immediate relief in sight. That's why saving every penny we can when we get the chance is important because while it may only be anywhere from $1 to $20 every time you fill up, in the long run you'll look back and realized how much you saved. It's still a burn but in the mean time it's all we can do right?
Wrong, there is so much more we can do to save us from paying more and how frequently we fill up. I personally could think of page after page of tips and personal helpful hints to help you save gas so you empty your wallet less and stay on the road longer.
