The price of gas is going up yet again. When will it end? The truth is, it probably won't. Sure there will be dips and ups and downs but the overall graph will continue to be up. The only real question for us will be “how high".
Crude oil, the substance from which gas is derived and refined, is a commodity. And just like any other commodity, the price is determined by the market demand. When demand is high, such as the summer cottage season, or supply is low, such as hurricane season which can threaten the off-shore rigs, the price goes up. There really is nothing we can do about it because our need does not change.
We still have to drive to work, we still have to visit family out of town, and we still have to do all the things that we normally do. We can do nothing about our need for fuel.
But there is a technology that can change that. There is a simple and safe conversion that we can do to our cars that can drastically reduce the need for gas. If you do not already drive a hybrid vehicle, there is a simple and inexpensive modification that you can do to make a tank of gas go much further than it once did. I'm not talking about damaging your vehicle by dumping water into your gas tank along with the gas to dilute it, but it is a similar principle.
Using this method you will attach a simple reservoir inside your engine that you will fill with water. This will break down the gas and convert it to a substance that will help to make a tank of gas last much longer than it did before. In the next few years you will save thousands of dollars on gas.
