If you always go on various vacations, you must have taken tons of digital pictures. Or if you like cooking up treats in the kitchen, you've probably collected oodles of delicious recipes over the years. And what about all those baby pictures, wedding memories, and festival celebrations? I don’t exactly know about you but I have a million of these!

However, the fact is that I never do anything with all those pictures over such a long time. Some of them even stayed in my computer never to see the light of day. Are any of you out there like me who love to take pictures but don’t really do anything with them or don’t even know what to do with them? Well I just may have found the solution to this problem.

When it came the day of my son’s birthday, I shopped, clicked and searched for the perfect birthday gift for him, but still had no idea what to buy. After a while, I came across a beautiful photo collage card online, which gave me the inspiration to prepare a homemade birthday card for him. So I googled how to make a personalized birthday card with photos.

I learned that there are many ways to design a custom birthday card including the desktop software, online card making website and the handcraft. Seeing that I’m not a good crafter and I tried to design it with an online collage maker, which at last made me tired for the hassles of registration and payment, I decided to hunt for an easy to use software on App Store, where I found a free and nice poster app named Posterist under Best New Apps in Mac App Store. So I installed it straight away for my needs.

The greatest thing with Posterist is the hundreds of gorgeous templates inside, which is the best thing for photo newbies like me. In just three steps, I got an amazing and unique birthday collage card for my son - I chose one favorite template; added some memorable photos of my son and then directly printed the card out.

Now I will never worry about how to deal with all my digital photos, with this software, I can not only make birthday gifts, but also design beautiful multi-photo posters, holiday greeting cards and other one-of-kind keepsakes with ease.

This is really an inexpensive and beautiful way to give custom gifts to friends and loved ones, and preserve all your memories. Instead of letting those photos on your hard drive collect digital dust, use Posterist to make it always fresh at home. You may want to free download it here: http://www.pearlmountainsoft.com/posterist/index.html

Have fun with your memories!
