Endless grasslands are best known to many people, who want to use the camera to capture this lush beautiful scenery, but find that they don't know how to take a picture with layered structures. In fact the point of grassland photography is lines and color, photographers can use composition to make it show the most beautiful side, thus expressing the theme connotation.

Typical three-part method of composition

In order to constitute a stable picture, outline of scenes, horizontal trisection of the screen can be used, and the subject is placed on the Golden line. The picture on the right highlights autumn Prairie, and photographers deliberately increased the share of grassland at the time of framing, making it one-third below the picture.

Diaplay Prairie’s broadness with panoramic composition

The photographer can shoot the Prairie in a wide range. But most of the time, photographers should grasp the views which attract viewers’ attention.

Shooting the grassland and trees is to demonstrate a fresh feeling, therefore when photpgrapher is targeting at a longly tree, he should exclude other subjects to only focus on the tree as the main subject, and emphasize on the color contrast to highlight the main subject.

When shooting independent trees on the Prairie, the photographer will be most likely to use the traditional three-part method of composition. The photographers should align the light objects in the foreground, shooting with a spot light, so that the background can become darker to reflect the overall high profile effect.

Shooting grassland with a backlight

For an ordinary landscape, photographer can use strong backlight and scene projection, to design a beautiful picture; Or take advantage of one corner of Prairie, gorgeou, and silhouette of the trees themselves, the atmosphere the picture and charm of light and shadow can be shown.

Generally there are many warm and cold color contrast in the street under sunlight, the effects of which can be more obvious than the real effect one has seen with his own eyes as long as you take heart to make composition. Of course, the photos taken can be handled with photo effects online so as to make them more wonderful.
