There is alot of thing artist and beat buyer dont know when it comes to buying beats. Most artist like to go for the free beats instead of paying for beats buy theres a saying you get what you pay for just because the beat if free does not mean you have good rights to it that beat still belongs to the owner of the beat tagged or not. Now a days beats range from 10 to 200 dollars which is not alot of money when a couple years ago producers were charging 3 time that price if you are serious about your music then why not put money into your craft thank about it this way why would people invest in you if you can't invest in your self it takes money to make money so that means you have to spend it to get it.
Alot of artist find it difficult when it comes to buying beats online.
Some times they don't know where to go to find the beats and who to trust nowadays since its become common for a producer to still someone else's beats. A artist should always take time to do a little research before buying a beat. Most cases producers sell beats but don't mention if the beat is non exclusive or a exclusive beat that confuses the artist because they don't no there rights on the beat.
One thing that is certain is if the producer has everything layed out on there site they might suit your needs better then a new producer that know nothing about selling beats licenses contracts or all that. Artist should go with the producer who offers the best deals like buy two beats get two beats free or something like that. I am a producer and i also buy beats from time to time i also go off word of mouth or the rep of the producer that way i can trust them easier. Beat quality is also a big thing when it comes to buying rap beats you dont want a low budget beat also go for the radio ready beats.
