Top Disney Cartoons to Watch

Walt Disney CartoonsDisney certainly holds the most popular cartoon characters and they have been famous worldwide. Mickey Mouse is by far their most famous cartoon and possibly the most widely recognized figures of all time. However, Disney has other very popular cartoon characters that have made their way into many homes and hearts all across the world.

  • Children have long been related to these characters their entire lives and therefore, Disney Cartoons as a whole are part of the pop culture and the characters have a lot of life left in them. It's no secret, that Disney is a big part of the lives of our children.

Some of the most famous characters that Disney has graced the world with include:

Mickey Mouse

No matter where someone lives or what their age, everyone knows and has heard of Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse came to life in 1928 in the movie, Steamboat Willie. He was an instant success, but his look did change someone from the early drawings. In the early days, it seemed he was made of circles, his head, ears, and body were all circles. During 1939, his appearance began to change and his body became pear-shaped and then he also received pupils in his eyes. Later, his ears were changed from circles to a more three dimensional look, but this did not last long. The Mickey Mouse you see today is very similar to the earlier drawings, though his clothes has changed over the years.

  • It's no secret, that kids love to watch disney cartoons online . Interestingly, the original voice over for Mickey was Walt Disney, but then later Jim Macdonald took over this role. The voice over today for Mickey is Wayne Allwine.
  • Mickey Mouse has not only appeared in movies and cartoons, but you can also buy hats, shirts, and many other items with Mickey's smiling face on it.

Donald Duck

Another one of Disney's famous charters is Donald Duck. He first appeared in a cartoon called The Wise Little Hen in 1934. Because of his temper and good intentions, he appealed to audiences of all ages. There were a total of 128 cartoons made with the character and just like Mickey Mouse, there are several pieces of merchandise that fans can wear to show their love of Donald Duck.


Who at one point in their life could not relate to Bambi? He instantly won the hearts of the viewers with the film Bambi airing in 1942. His character comes straight from a book that was published by Felix Salten in 1928. This cartoon is similar to cartoon network cartoons . Bambi later was seen on cartoons made for television and even today many people think of deer in general as “Bambi. "

The vast array of Disney Cartoons is something that will be part of history, and later you will be able to watch free cartoons made by Disney anytime. Others popular figures include Peter Pan, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh, and countless others. Clearly, Disney has a lineup of cartoon characters that no other company can come close to matching. Their cartoons have stood the test of time and continue to delight children of all ages.
