Numerology's Birth Chart Missing Lines - Character Flaws From Your Birth Date

Wonder why people with the same Astrology sign or Life Path number are so different? In Numerology, part of the reason is that your Life Path is made up of different combinations of numbers in your date of Birth. Some people have character flaws predicted by the absence of any numbers along lines in their Birth Chart. Are you one of them?

Creating the Birth Chart

Numerology's birth chart is built using a (3) by (3) square; with the positions numbered from bottom to top, andleft to right. The whole number digits are used, while (0) is excluded. A square showing the positions for each digit is shown below:

( 3 )( 6 )( 9 )
( 2 )( 5 )( 8 )
( 1 )( 4 )( 7 )

To chart an individuals birth chart, we take each digit in their Gregorian date of birth, and place it in the appropriate square of the birth chart. Zeros are ignored, so the maximum number of digits in a completed chart is (8), though many people have fewer digits.

For an example, actor Johnny Depp was born June 9th, 1963; so his birth chart would look as follows:

( 3 )( 66 )( 99 )
( _ )( _ )( _ )
( 1 )( _ )( _ )

Birth Chart Missing Lines

A series of numbers on your Birth chart which form a row, column, or diagonal are called birth chart lines. Missing lines are those lines in a birth chart where no digit is present in any of the three positions. Three or more missing lines in a chart shows a flawed personality with major obstacles to overcome to follow your life path.

Note that Johnny Depp, (shown above) has a missing horizontal row (2-5-8) indicating that he has the Line of Sensitivity present in his chart.

Also note, it is impossible to have a missing vertical column (1-2-3) because of the birth Century number.

The following descriptions show what each missing Birth Chart line means.

Line of Frustration (missing 4-5-6)

This line on your birth chart makes you reluctant to accept your own needs in life. You expect too much from other people. This can give you problems in your home life. You may not even be able to say what you truly want from life. You must learn to act without needing the approval of others.

Line of Inertia (missing 7-8-9)

This line on your birth chart makes you put off acting on your ideas until you have perfected them. Others may see this as a tendency towards procrastination. You need to work at getting started on your tasks; learn not to plan your work to death.

Line of Eccentricity (missing 3-6-9)

This line on your birth chart makes you an unconventional thinker. You may have difficulty solving problems with logic, or in being creative. Seek the help of friends for inspiration and support with your problems in life.

Line of Sensitivity (missing 2-5-8)

This line on your birth chart makes you too sensitive to other people's opinions about you. You probably don't like working with large groups. You may have lacked self-confidence as a child. Work on your self-esteem; learn to love yourself as you are.

Line of Illusion (missing 1-4-7)

This line on your birth chart gives you an unrealistic view of life. You will have little use for wealth or material things. You need to be more practical and take action in your life. Your physical stamina may be poor, and you should work to improve it.

Line of Resignation (missing 1-5-9)

This line on your birth chart causes you to lack purpose in life. You need to work on your self-motivation and originality. Learn to choose your own path and not always follow the lead of others.

Line of the Skeptic (missing 3-5-7)

This line on your birth chart makes you either closed and orthodox; or open and accepting in your thinking. Closed minded skeptics are set in their beliefs and ideas and tend to reject anything touching on the metaphysical or the occult. Open minded skeptics reject the assumption that old ideas must be true and welcome new ideas and beliefs for equal consideration. This line can also predict a tendency to headaches and nervous disorders.
