Pelosi Talks to Syria - Foreign Policy

Diplomacy is ironically
Something we dispute
Skeptical and war weary
Republicans do refute
Speaker Nancy Pelosi's
Constitutional right
To talk with Syria
The U. S. State Dept
Writhes in hysteria
A laughingstock
In the Middle East
Condi's sweet candy
Just hasn't worked
With Dem competition
Bush & Co. are irked
How quickly they forget
Rummy and Saddam
Cheney and the Saudi’s
Here's how to get herpes
W. Bush kissing the King
Puckering up w/ everything
In the garden hand holding
With Bandar cigar smoking
Who is the Islamo-fascist?
Loyal Republo-fascist?
On diplomacy wimpish
On war most hawkish
Rats within the GOP
Turning on each other
Bush on Rummy
Rove on Libby
Libby on Cheney
Even Britain's Blair
Now has to pay
For joining the
Liar-in-chief in DC.
Playing dumb indefinitely
Lies grow exponentially
Obstruction perpetually
Denials incessantly
A failed foreign policy
So what if Nancy Pelosi
Wants to discuss security
To peaceably accomplish
What a war of terror
And censorship cannot
Bush Co. would utterly rot
Decompose and disintegrate
Decay and deteriorate
Languish in confinement
Politically pout and putrify
Knowing the war was a lie.
At least someone in Congress
Has the balls to go engage
The international community
In dialogue and diplomacy!
Listen, bond, and build bridges
Rather than with phony intel
Sell war, pushing fear and fibs
Even I a registered Republican
Will happily side with the Libs
Liberate and emancipate us
From this war without end
Come together and befriend
Say no to gov't centralization
Served in warmonger fashion
Failed foreign policy in action
By the fabrication administration
A continual culture of corruption
Obstruct and suppress opposition
Any differing threatening opinion
Bush acts as a king with dominion
Not consulting Congress beforehand
Using rhetoric he does grandstand
Pelosi has more guts than a man
Courage to travel to another land
Address and confront Syria's Assad
Who many believe to surely be
Connected to the murder in Lebanon
Of the former Prime Minister
To suspend discussions is sinister
However “Shut up, comply, or die!"
Is Bush's version of diplomacy.
A dictatorial and imperial position
Snapping at Pelosi is a contradiction
Interaction makes things happen
We need to rebuild bridges
The wingnuts have burned
Nancy's chutzpah should not
Be maligned, nor scorned
We the people should mourn
That the world is now torn
The American way infected
Our lying leaders rejected
Pelosi has done well in trying
To regain and earn respect
The influence and political capital
Bush & Co. do forget and neglect
Preferring blood, guts, and war
To uphold their moral values
Even God's name they misuse
Treating innocents like refuse
Talking is not surrendering
Talking is better than bombing
If Bush would do more of that
He might not need to be drinking
He and Cheney's guilty conscience
Will soon need serious counseling.
