Ok, I am going to end this now. The bottom line is that article marketing should serve as the entry point to build a relationship with someone that will culminate in the big ticket purchase. So each article should be written with that long-term in mind. You should not be writing articles hoping that someone will come to your web site and get your free gift so that you can sell them something for $10 so they will hopefully buy something for $100.
You should be writing articles that will specifically attract the people who will eventually buy your high-ticket item.
Your articles should be geared towards getting people to come into your sales funnel and buy your $10 product so they can see if you are the real deal. To see if you can write. To see if you know what you are talking about.
Then you should immediately be showing them how they can secure your $97 product – then your $500 product – and the ones that move through that sequence quickly may well be candidates at that time for the whole shebang – they are the ones that have stepped up and said, yes, I am serious about building a real business online.
So the first thing you need to do is plan your sales funnel, starting with your high-ticket product.
Then you need to start writing all your articles with that end-user, that high-ticket purchaser in mind. Stop writing to the $10 buyer – write to the $5000 buyer, and then offer them a $10 or $97 product so they can get to know you better.
