Jabalpur is a large Indian city with population of more than 2 million. It is highly urbanized and modern with sound infrastructure. Earlier during the Raj it was the favorite of the British. A number of historical buildings built during the Raj stand testimony to the fact. Jabalpur is right in the center of the country, situated in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The State is also known as the heart of India. Surrounded by mountains cloaked in forests it is a picturesque destination with unique topography.

The green surroundings and the nature within makes it an ideal residential habitat. Nevertheless it contains heavy industries and HQs of Government and major institutions. The education infrastructure is vast with three university medical colleges, technical colleges and management schools. A very large number of schools and degree colleges impart education not only to the students of the city but to those belonging to neighborhood. The name Mahakaushal includes all the satellite towns and it is also known as the cultural capital.

A large population base supports a vast number of establishments spread all around the city as well as the outskirts. The destination has a rich economy as a trading and manufacturing hub. Most of the private industries are situated in the industrial zones with sound infrastructure and facilities. A large number of hospitals, clinics and doctors provide medical facilities. This has reduced the stress of seeking medical care in the metros.

The city is also a major tourist facilitator with easy access to major tiger reserve like Kanha, Pench, Satpura and Bandhavgarh. Pachmarhi Hill Resort and Amarkantak all invite a large number of tourists not forgetting Marble Rock a colorful amazing gorge at River Narmada and a boating place. Jabalpur recieves large number of businessmen, traders and company professionals besides people on diverse purpose.

The need for high level of accommodation is growing day by day. Many people search for basic accommodation but large number seek star facilities. Though there is only one five star hotel in the city (more are being established) there are few three star properties, and a large number of luxury hotels have sprung up. When seeking a stay in the city one must search on the Internet which anyway is the usual practice. This is for those seeking a star property for a stay.

Jabalpur has few of these properties some of them may not be up to the mark. Hence one should read reviews on portals that publish them. There are some private guest houses available but these are on cheaper side. There are few boutique homestays that offer a luxury stay. But these properties are not much advertised. One should seek referral in this case.

There is only one five star hotel in Jabalpur for accommodation and weddings. More such properties are in the process being established. As the city grows economically the outlook for good accommodation becomes a high probability.

Uday often writes on hotels in Jabalpur City offering star accommodation hence the article. He writes often on Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. Uday writes on many busness topics.
