Many people who had bought flats for sale in Pune like Kharadi property are feeling duped as the builders have either not given possession on time or have cheated customers. Many people who had invested in flats in Kharadi and have still not got possession are planning to file a case with the District Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (DCGRF). Customers allege that builders show them the property site and promise to give possession in next few months however the projects get stalled and people are left out in the lurch. As a result many people are now looking to buy resale properties in Pune as buying an under-construction property has now become an unsafe bet for home buyers across the country.

In the last six years 1,815 related to the housing sector have been filed by people who have invested in flats for sale in Pune. This year till now 242 cases related to the housing sector have been reported to DCGRF. The complaints are not restricted to budget properties even builders of super luxury projects are also defaulting.

A super luxury project offering flats in Kharadi has not given possession even after two years of the promised delivery date. The average cost of flats in Kharadi in the project is around 1.5 crore. Buyers of Kharadi property visit the property site but they are not sure when will they be given the possession of their Kharadi property.

This delay proves to be a double whammy for a person who has already taken an EMI and is also paying heavy rent. Looking at this many people are now refraining to buy under-construction flats for sale in Pune. More people especially the end-users are now actively looking at resale properties in Pune as an attractive proposition.

Moreover when a person buys resale properties in Pune he can directly shift to the house and refrain himself from paying additional rent. Moreover in resale properties in Pune one can easily identify the problem that would be existing in the home all one has to do is to just visit the property site. There are many pros and cons of buying resale properties in Pune one should understand his needs and judge whether to buy a resale property or a under-construction property for himself.
