Travelling and Finding Model Cars

I have been collecting die cast cars for quite some time, and I have travelled all over the world and checked out a number of different retailers and shops. It is certainly difficult to say which of the shops are the absolute best, as I have seen too many to count. The most important thing to me, of course, is the selection of car models that are on display. I do not always go into a die cast cars shop in order to make a purchase, but the bigger the selection, the more likely it is that I will make a purchase even if I was not initially expecting to do so. While I do collect car models myself, I have also made it a hobby to window shop these sorts of establishments.

Probably the next thing that I find important when going to a shop that specialises in car models is the expertise of the salespeople at the establishment. I have often found myself turned off by disinterested employees who do not share the same passion for die cast cars that I have myself. This has been a troublesome occurrence at a handful of the places that I have visited whether at home or abroad. Obviously, if I have questions about certain car models that I would like to have answered, it is helpful to have a knowledgeable sales person who is willing to take the time to work with me and find the answers that I need.

I can say that one of the better experiences that I have had at one of these shops occurred when I was on a business trip in Australia. While I was travelling around on the weekend, I happened upon a car models shop in Braidwood, and I decided to go in and take a look. I was rather surprised at the vast selection of die cast cars of varying brands and models the moment that I walked in. First of all, I am a big fan of Biante and Hot Wheels, and this particular showroom had an abundance of both. The place was called Car Models of Braidwood, and what was even more impressive about them was the fact that their sales person was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The moment that I asked about Biante model cars, the person that helped me knew exactly where they were located and all the details of the different makes and models.

I had such a good experience speaking with the sales person at Car Models of Braidwood that I decided to go ahead and make a couple of purchases, even though I had only planned to look around when I first stepped in the door. This personal experience really made all of the difference to me, and that is why I decided that I will also purchase from them again. Although I do not live in Australia, the person explained to me that orders can be placed from their website and shipped anywhere. I have since visited the website regularly.
