‘What is disease?’
No matter what the name – that’s just what it is – A NAME FOR A CONDITION
The problem with this type of thinking / labeling (taught and reinforced by the medical profession and it’s associated arms) is that it causes us to think outside of ourselves.
It causes us to disassociate – create ‘duality’
It is reasoned that disease is something that visits us – isn’t a part of us – it’s something that can be dealt with separately from our ‘self. ’
And of course - the corollary to this line of thinking is that we can ‘take something to cure the thing. ’
The reality of the situation is that disease and health are conditions.
And conditions change – they never stay the same.
Nothing is static – everything is in motion.
We either move toward better health or we move toward lesser health.
As conditions change the quality of our tissue either improves or deteriorates.
Disease proceeds in the following manner:
To check this for yourself, simply rub your hands together quickly and add pressure - (read as; irritation)
Note the build up of heat - (read as inflammation)
Increase the pressure and pace and it won’t be long before a blister appears followed by an ulceration of the tissues.
As long as the irritation remains, the body will protect the site with a callous - (read as: induration or hardening)
If the irritation remains, even though there is a protective coating and we can’t see any change, the condition will continue to change through it’s final stages which we label as cancer.
The primary cause in all conditions is IRRITATION – be it mechanical, electrical or chemical.
It doesn’t matter in what part of the body the irritation occurs, ie.
You can add your own scenario to this situation – life is full of irritations isn’t it?
The simple resolution to all disease symptoms is:
1. Remove any and all causes of irritation.
2. Provide the conditions for health.
3. Rest (conserve energy) and allow the body to heal itself.
