Proper handling of Chicken Products

When it comes to food, you must be meticulous when it comes to cooking and preparing. It is one way of ensuring that your family will enjoy delicious and clean food. There are so many diseases that are spreading because of the improper way of cooking and preparing food. Here are some tips that can help you ensure the health of your family.

First, you have to make sure that the grocery store where you are going to buy is clean. Take a look of the surroundings when you are buying. Chicken and poultry products are very prone to germs especially when they are place on a dirty environment.

Second, always check your fridge. Check if it is broken or if it is dirty. It is very essential for you to check the fridge because this is the place where you will store your chicken products. Store your chicken products in your fridge immediately after buying. It is the best way to preserve your chicken products.

Third, clean all the utensils before you start cooking. You have to make sure that the things that will make contact to the food are clean. It may contain viruses and germs that can cause disease if it is not cleaned properly. Wash it with soap and water thoroughly. Wash it with hot water afterwards to make sure that the germs are removed.

Fourth, chickens must be marinated inside the fridge. It is advisable if you marinade your chicken inside the fridge. After putting all the marinade ingredients, place it inside the fridge but do not let it freeze. Adjust the temperature of your fridge. Do not use the marinade for basting. It is not advisable to use it as basting.

Fifth, all the parts of the chicken must be cooked properly. Do not put the raw and cooked chicken on the same place. They must be cooked in 140 degrees to 165 degrees of heat to remove all the bacteria that are present in the chicken. Check the thick parts of the chicken if it is cooked propery.

Sixth, serve the food immediately after cooking. Do not let the food sit around for 1 hour. Serve it immediately while it is hot.

With the help of these tips, you will not have to worry of you families health.
